Family and friends

Anyone they love can read tonight’s story.

Grandma in Glasgow, an uncle in Toronto, a godparent down the road. Send them a link, and their voice joins your child’s bedtime, wherever they live.

It takes them about 30 seconds. No app, no account.

Who can read?

Any grown-up your child loves. Everyone records their own voice, with their own permission.

18+Only people aged 18 or over can record. Children only ever listen.
Grandparents
The voice they’d know anywhere, even from the other side of the world.
“Once upon a time, at the very end of our road…”
Aunts and uncles
The fun ones, the silly voices and the big adventures.
“Ready for an adventure, little one?”
Godparents
A special bedtime ritual, however far away they live.
“Shall we see what the moon is up to tonight?”
Mum or Dad, away
Working late, travelling or on nights. Their voice is still at bedtime.
“Goodnight, little star. I’ll be home before you wake.”
Grown-up brothers and sisters
Away at university or living on their own, and aged 18 or over.
“Right, one more chapter, then lights out.”
Family friends
The neighbour they adore, or the friend who’s practically family.
“Have I ever told you about the dragon next door?”
Step-parents
Part of the family, and part of bedtime too.
“Sleep tight, superstar. Same time tomorrow?”
Carers and nannies
The one who knows every bedtime routine, on the nights you can’t be there.
“Teeth brushed? Then snuggle down, here we go.”
Samples are illustrative. Real family samples will replace them once beta families agree.

This is my own voice. I’m 18 or over, and I agree BellaBye may make a private copy of my voice to read this family’s stories.
